Donations Help things Move Forward
The financial upkeep on such a large house is at times daunting. We keep going as the need for safe and sober housing for recovering people is great. We have installed a new roof and remodeled two kitchens from the rent money that we all pay. There is no profit made at Hoover House, all the money goes in the upkeep of the house and to pay utilities. Presently we need a new furnace. We also need some new windows as some are very old and drafty. Over 20 years money has gone for update on electrical to keep the house safe. We have purchased new mattresses, bedding, carpeting and paint over the years. There is always a need. If you care to donate it would be greatly appreciated.
