Transitional Living for Women

How much is the rent and when is it due? The rent is $400.00 per month for a shared room and $450.00 A month for a private room. The rent is due on the first of each month.

 

What is provided? We provide laundry facilities, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, cable tv, internet, one set of bedding, that includes two sheets, one pillow case, one pillow, one blanket, and a comforter. All utilities. Pet therapy

 

What is not provided? We do not provide counseling therapy, We do not provide over the  counter medication or personal hygiene items. We do not provide transportation

 

Do I have a black out period? You cannot access overnights for 30 days. After 30 days you are permitted two overnights per week. You must give us an address and telephone number to reach you.  The curfew is midnight. If you have less than 30 days you cannot access a later curfew.

 

Are  children permitted? Children are permitted to visit two times per week. If you have a private room they are permitted two overnights.

 

Am I required to attend meetings? Hoover House believes in attraction rather than promotion. We cant force someone to go to meetings however It is strongly suggested that you attend meetings. It is a requirement that you either be working, going to school, in therapy full time or doing volunteer work. There is a weekly mandatory house meeting.

 

What other requirements are there? If you are a heroin user it is required that you have the Vivitrol shot before leaving rehabilitation, or that you be taking Revia to reduce cravings.

 

What are the three main rules? DON’T USE DRUGS OR ALCOHOL, PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME, GET ALONG WITH OTHERS.
